HPCwire picks up on joint Position Paper on HPC for Energy
We are thrilled to announce that HPCwire picked up on a Position Paper from the European Energy Research Alliance (EERA) and the Energy-oriented Centre of Excellence (EoCoE) about using HPC technologies for Energy. With this article, HPCwire draws more attention to the performed work within the EoCoE-II project where FAU was involved via the Chair for System Simulation and the NHR.
EoCoE is an EU Horizon 2020 project with the aim of developing and applying high-performant computational methods in different areas, e.g., wind, water and fusion for energy, to accelerate the transition to clean, decarbonized energy. Our chair participates in the high-performant simulation of wind farms via our software waLBerla and improving the scalability of solvers.
